We’re always looking for new post contributions from our growing community. We’d like to see posts about remarkable people, impactful organizations, positive ideologies and ideas for personal growth. All posts should be inspirational to the World Minded audience. If you have a post that you think our readers can relate to, learn from and be inspired by then please send it to us.
Tone: Tone can be unique to your own voice but should be comprehensible and generally positive, something that readers can relate to and be inspired by. Take a look around and see what we’ve previously posted.
No sales pitch or self-promotion: We will promote you, your project and website in the author bio section. We do not accept posts that include a sales pitch or include marketing links. We want you to be authentic and inspire the world in your own way. People are most receptive to posts that are sincere and when there isn’t a hidden agenda involved.
Word count: Posts typically run between 250-850 words. Please stay under 850 words. Please be concise and consider overall readability.
Photos: All contributors are encouraged to submit photos with their posts. Photos should be at least 800 pixels wide by 400 pixels tall (bigger in either direction, or both, is fine).
Edit your submission: All guest posts should be grammatically correct and free of spelling errors. We’ll always do our best to check for typos and edit for errors but we’d prefer to receive the best quality content that has been edited first and will be more likely to publish it.
Attributions: Please ensure proper acknowledgment, quotation and other third-party content referenced in the post including photo credit.
Original content is key: All guest posts submitted must be unique and original to World Minded. We do not accept posts that have already been published or submitted elsewhere online or that you plan to distribute to other websites.
Bio and promotion: We do not compensate contributors for posts, but we’re more than happy to include a byline, photo and brief author bio containing links to your website and social media accounts, which we will promote when your post goes live. Please keep your bio to less than 50 words. World Minded is a great resource to promote what you’re doing. We offer traffic to your personal website, social media pages and regular contributors will be added to our authors page.
By submitting a post to World Minded you acknowledge that you accept our terms, and any form of editing that might occur on behalf of the World Minded editorial team.
