Sara Pfeifer

Sara's early life very much resembled that of a fish, as she spent as much time as possible submerged in the waters of North County, San Diego. Friends and family were astounded when she traded the ocean for the mountains, moving to the Eastern Sierra in January of 2004. Not able to stay away from the coast for long, Sara packed up for Santa Cruz in January of 2005 to finish a bachelors of the arts. There she studied oil painting and discovered a passion for relief printmaking. Upon getting her degree, Sara made her way back to the hills. She gets her kicks by having ski adventures with good mountain people, submerging herself in very chilly alpine lakes, finding time to make art now and again, traveling to the coastal regions of the Americas, starting a non-profit organization to support local agriculture and piecing together odd-jobs in true "ski bum" style ever since.

Santa Barbara focusing on welding in her final semester. Eventually she would like to go back to school for a masters degree in Psychology concentrating on Art Therapy as a career.
